Read an exchange's reserve health in 4 minutes

Exchange reserve trends are the cleanest macro signal for buying vs. selling pressure. Here is the quick read.

1. On the BTC dashboard, switch the Exchange Reserves chart to the 90-day view to see the structural trend

2. Compare Inflow vs Outflow on the Exchange Flows chart

   A sustained outflow-dominant regime (more BTC leaving than entering) means self-custody is rising — usually bullish.

3. Cross-check the Funding Rate + Open Interest chart

   High positive funding + high OI + rising reserves = leveraged longs being unloaded onto an exchange = caution.

4. On the live feed, filter Flow Type to to_exchange (sell pressure) and watch for repeat inflows from cold-storage clusters

   That is OTC sellers offloading.
