What is Redemption?
On-chain burn (Transfer to 0x0) signals a holder claiming the underlying gold. Tether requires 250kg minimum for physical delivery from Swiss vault; Paxos allows smaller redemption to Brink's NY or USD-settlement. Burns reduce circulating supply.
